SPANIENS KULTMARKE VON HÖCHSTER QUALITÄT

Founded in 1879 by two brothers and now run by the fifth generation, the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (C.V.N.E.) has always seen itself as an ambassador of Spain: its logo is not a family crest, but essentially the Spanish flag. The cult brand CUNE was born from the simple swapping of the letters V and U. These wines are characterized by their aroma, freshness, and elegance. Not only is C.V.N.E. still located at its original site in Haro, Rioja Alta, but its winemaking methods also reflect a deep commitment to tradition: top-quality wines are produced through hand harvesting, gentle pressing, extended maceration, and barrel aging. As the first Spanish winery to reach the top spot on Wine Spectator’s annual Top 100 list, C.V.N.E. stands as an icon of Spanish winemaking.
