PIONIERE DES BIO-PREMIUM-GARNACHA
San Alejandro was founded in the 1960s by a group of motivated winegrowers who wanted to share their homeland and wines with the world. Today, they are leaders in the Calatayud region—both in terms of size and quality. These pioneers from Aragón firmly believe in the potential of "their" grape variety, Garnacha. That’s why their new project, Querencia, aligns perfectly with this pioneering mindset. Querencia focuses on the responsible use of resources, reducing CO₂ emissions, using recycled materials, and, above all, optimizing the lifespan of the vines through gentle, controlled organic farming. In their homeland, the group has found ideal locations for this project: hillside to steep-slope vineyards with favorable wind conditions and old, resilient vines.
