1,500 winegrowers are members of Saxony's largest winegrowers' cooperative, making it part of one of the smallest and easternmost winegrowing regions in Germany. Since 1938, quality wines with a focus on aromatic and fruit-intensive grape varieties have been produced in the steep slopes around Meißen, Coswig, Radebeul and Dresden in Saxony - to the taste of many consumers.
