Zonin 1821

Family treasures

Gambellara in the Veneto: Giobatta Zonin founded a small wine cellar in the middle of an oasis of green hills and vineyards in 1821. Seven generations on, together with his two brothers, Francesco Zonin runs the family firm which now also owns other wine estates in other regions of Italy. The Veneto is charming, not just because of its beautiful wine growing landscape, good food and fine wines but also its capital Venice. Often referred to as the City of Velvet and Silk, this former Renaissance trading centre is a major symbol of Italy’s art, culture and history. Since the headquarters of Zonin 1821 are just 40 km from Venice, Domenica (the president) and his brothers Francesco and Michele Zonin (both vice-presidents) are also personally connected with the city of love. Zonin’s wines pay tribute not just to Venice but to all of Italy and its cultural, artistic and scientific legacy. The Zonin wines delight all fans of Italian wines with their velvety smooth, entirely harmonious and elegant style.
